It has become a tradition for me to do The Race for the Cure. When I found out that Raider would be off I asked him if he would like to join and I was surprised when he said sure why not. So on May 7Th we woke up the boys early and headed down to Salt Lake to hang out with 17,000 people. I was fine until the race started and the played Melissa Etheridge's song I Run for Life. It just hit the chorus I run for hope, I run to feel, I run for truth for all that is real, I run for your mother, your sister, your wife, I run for you and me my friend, I run for life. I looked over at Connor holding onto the stroller just walking along not full understanding what we are doing and started to cry. Connor wanted a sign on his shirt like dads. In Celebration of GRANDMA SUSAN.
Con walked for a while but after that Parker and him took turns riding on dad's shoulders.
