The boys baseball season is over. They have enjoyed it. Connor played the majority of the season at first base. One time he got the runner out and he yelled "that's what I'm talking bout". During Connor's last game he was playing pitcher and has he was running off the field the catcher threw it back to him and hit him in the head.Parker has enjoyed this season and is looking forward to next year for machine pitch.  He is definitely ready for more action in the game. During one of Parker's game he played pitcher and he caught a pop fly and ran back to second base and tagged both runners for a triple play. I am grateful for   Grandpa and Grandma Jamieson for coming to the boys games each week.

We like going to the Ogden Adventure park. We bought some water guns a while ago, and thought this would be a good time for a water fight. Connor enjoyed floating down the river while Parker was trying to squirt everyone with the water guns. Afton stayed by the shore most of the time. As we were leaving the kids got  a second wind and played at the park.

This year to thank all the volunteers the school rented layton Surf n Swim. After Parker's baseball game we headed over for the party. It has been hot all week but it seemed once we went in the water the sun went down and got chilly. The boys had fun seeing some of their friends again.

Today was the kick of event for Layton City go tags summer program. Kids collect tags for different things they can go to help them get outside, after so many tags they get in free at surf and swim. They had lots of different carnival games for kids to do. The boys really loved the dunk tank. At the end of the event they had a mud slide, mud pit for kids to climb out of, then a slip in slide for the kids to slide down full of bubbles.

This year the school did a choir concert and it was called heal the world. Connor's cluster sang Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson. Parker's class did Under Pressure by Queen. At the end all the kids sang Heal the world by Michael Jackson. Wish that I could have caught Parker yawing during the performance. As we were leaving the decided to try one of the food trucks that was there.

We woke up this morning with baseball practice, but soon realized that was raining so much that it would be cancelled. Instead of giving the boys the option of a movie I told them that we were going to the Living Plant Aquarium. And Parker wailed why it takes for ever to get there. Afton had fun for a while but then screamed every time she was held up to look over something. The boys enjoyed telling us all they had learned from when they were there on their field trips.

Krissy helped organize a service project in memory of Grandma Burton. We help grandpa Burton take out some small bushes and build up a flower bed.
