I received a call saying that the ward was in need of help cleaning the Stake camp ground and not a lot of people signed up. So we woke the boys up early and headed the the mountains. The boys were in heaven they got to play in the dirt and with trucks. One of the brethren let the boys try and cut some of the branches off on of the sticks. I thought the boys would like to put the logs in the trailer but that only lasted a few times then back to the dirt!

Raider got some time off work and we headed up the Powder Mountain with his family. The boys were in heaven throwing rocks, swimming and being with cousins. The condo gets real small with the whole family up there so I told the older kids that we were going to hike up the night ski run. They giggled a little but agreed. We ended up hiking around the corner to the ski lodge and playing on the old crane that was there and the ski lift chairs. Raider made Orange Julius for old time sake. Plus Connor asks for them every night its one of his new food groups.

Connor love to ride his bike and one night on our walk he hit something and bent his training wheel. When we got home Raider took it off and started the process of riding with out the training wheels. Raider thought it would be a safer landing if he tried riding to the grass. When he pedaled a little then fall we would cheer then he would jump back up and try it again. As he got better he would jump off and give someone a hug grab his back and go again. One he got the hang of it we tried the sidewalk same process he would ride so far and hope off and give someone a hug. This time he ran to hug Parker. Connor told Parker what he had just done and Parker said "HUH" so Connor told him again Parker said "Oh yeah" and smiled. My pictures got mixed up and so the one of them hugging should have been next to go along with my story. I am not sure when Connor figured out that he could scale the walls but he sure get a kick out of it. I guess watching all of the Spider Man cartoons have finally paid off.

Connor is now a Kindergartner. He doesn't say much about school just that they do lots of things. He told me one day that I have little wiggle arms like Mrs. Moon. He doesn't like walking to school he said it's do hard. So I either push him in the stroller or he rides in the bike trailer.

We went to a splash pad with the cousins. Livia and Owen had a great time being the photographers for us.

A big moment for me. We were invited to up to the trailer, but Raider had to work. I was going back and forth of what to do. I am a chicken when it come to driving new places. I said what the heck the boys like it up there I'll just follow someone. I was good till it came time to turn off asphalt and on dirt roads. I knew the car could do it,but Raider has been the one driving avoiding the ruts. I always remember them being bigger and the trees overgrown. I made it and the boys got to ride 4 wheelers and throw rocks get dirty.

My pictures got out of order. After the parade and naps we went to Krissy's for a Barbeque. Connor loves the slide, Parker not so much. But this time he actual went down with the water on. Most of the time Parker and Lucy were playing in the container that the slide is held in. When the kids got bored they went to feed the ducks.

All Parker enjoyed the parade because of all the trucks it didn't matter if it was a firetruck or a truck pulling a float. We enjoyed the new law allowing the bigger fire works legal. Raider bought more of them for the 24 so he could watch me light them then run away screaming. There is nothing like celebrating the holidays with family.

This will be long or short depending on if I can think of what to say. I have let my blogging go because I am obsessed with my sewing. My mom challenged the grand kids, if they read the month of June she would do a swim party. Towards the end they got crafty and put the slide in the small pool. Parker couldn't just go down and get out, he had to slide then jump out. Sherri was the brave one and got in the pool to splash with the kids and did the slip n slide.

Ragnar! I had been dreading it since the first meeting. There were so many unknowns!! And plus I wasn't going to have my running partner while I ran. She was in the same van just not with while running! I found out what my friend was doing I was excited because I thought I might see her along the route. And I did right when we parked I looked out my window and saw her vehicle. So I had to say hi. It was fun the see each other at the exchanges or while running.
Sorry I know that this isn't a close pic, but the close up one I look like a giant and the lady that is behind me here is passing me in the the other.
I liked my leg and start time. We started at 6:50 in the morning on Friday. I ran my first leg around 8. It was 6.9 miles. The second leg was around 4:30 or 5 in the evening. I should have practiced running in the heat. Last leg was at 4:30 in the morning on Saturday. It was cold! During the hours of 7:30 at night and 6:30 in the morning you have to have a head and butt lamp and a reflective vest on. While running I was not only entertained by my music but also by my breath in my head lamp. It the middle of June and it was about 30 degrees. I was on a stretch kind of by my self and I came upon some mail boxes and at the bottom there was a Shadow. I thought that could be a small bear or a cow. Of course at the time I didn't think that a runner had just past that same spot and nothing happened. I still slowed down and the closer I came to I realized it was mail boxes with newspaper boxes jumbled together. As the guy behind me is trying to pass me I looked down and see that my shadow that looks just like those things on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I had a great time and I would do it again if I could have the same leg or maybe leg 7.
We bought Connor a new bike for his birthday and gave Park the old one. He tried riding it for a minute then gave up and went back to his scooter. We started out for a walk and just stayed at Stacie's. I think this is the closest Parker has ever gotten to Stacie's cat.

The dinosaur Park. Last time I was here Connor was 8 weeks old. I thought he might enjoy it better this time. Um no. He kept asking when he could go home. To keep him entertained I let him take some pictures. When we sat down for lunch he found dirt that made him happy. Then Eden and Dallin wanted turns with the camera. Dallin took the picture of me. I learned my lesson when trying to get a group picture let Erika take it then get a copy from her.

I went to drop of the end of the year treats to all the cousins. Connor and Parker took advantage of the nice weather. Connor took turns driving the four wheeler around and Parker likes to ride around in the sled.

Connor is now 5 years old. He has been so excited for people to come to his house for his birthday. All he wanted was a helicopter robot. Sorry forgot to take a picture of that. Thank you everyone for coming.
