Erika invited us to go to the park. It was exactly what I need. The boys have been driving my batty I took a leave of absence on parenthood this week.

Today was Connor's last day of preschool. I was upset in the beginning because I felt like they were just playing and not learning things I thought he should be learning. But good gravy Connor has changed so much over this year. He talks all the time, you can understand what he says, he follows directions ( if Raider and I am not the one asking him go do something). These are some boys in his class. Collin is in red and Derek is in blue. Collin is the nephew one of my good friends growing up. It was funny to see her in the class room. The last few months we have been running while the kids are in class.

His teacher Mrs. Kriss.

Mrs. Sally and the speech instructor.

I bought Connor a new helmet and he wore it home.

I love having Stacie living close to me. I feel like we play on the spur of the moment. I called her up and said lets go to the trail before it rains we packed up the kids and surprising it never did. I must say that I look good in May's barbie glasses.

I took my eye off Parker for a second to take a picture and this is where was.

sorry this should be up further. After we left the park Stacie called and said that the bike shop 5050 had some kids doing bike tricks. It was crazy but the kids liked.

Every time Connor goes out the play he just wants to dig in the dirt and look for worms. This was Friday morning before the thunderstorm. I don't mind a good storm but not when it shakes the house.
Parker tried to get a drink.

We have taking Con out on his bike around the neighbour hood before on the bike. I thought it would be nice to go to the trail so I wouldn't have to worry about cars. I have wanted to run on this trail but I keep telling Carrie that it is kind of creepy, and it is but we survived. While we were down there I kept thinking how fun would this be do a family bike ride or a nice stroll anyone interested.
We went to the bridge and back. I am the worst at estimating distance (ask Carrie) so I'll just say it was far.

Sorry I didn't take a picture I didn't feel like running 3.1 miles with a camera. I should have posted this about a week ago when it happened but I didn't oh well. I thought I have been doing the Race for the Cure for 5 years but I can only find 4 t-shirts. This is one of my favorite traditions. It started because of my cousin Carlee. You would think it was because my Grandma Alta had breast cancer, my mother in law, Stacie my mom and I have had lumps removed. Nope Carlee asked if I wanted to join her in a walk and I have been doing it ever since. Of course now I walk/ run (depending on who I go with) for all of those reason and for all my nieces. It is defiantly not for those who hate crowds! They say it around 17,000 that sign up. I look forward to it each year and I hope that some day I can come up with a fun t-shirt to wear. My favorite I have seen is Saving Second Base.

I told James that he had to go the Library to do his homework today. I am not excited about this semester, its 15 weeks worth of information crammed into 6 0r 8 weeks. When he is home doing his homework it makes me mad cause if he is home I want him upstairs with us ( i am selfish), so it's easier if he is gone. When he left I didn't feel much like being home. I called up Stacie told her to come along with me to Classic fun center. Leah our neighbor meet us there as well.

Don't let this picture fool you. Parker had fun for about the first two rides and then he was done. Not sure if it was the rides or Con. Connor pulls the handle back and forth so it is a jerky ride, I don't think he quit understood how to work it. After awhile Parker started to cry, and it was like that on the rest of the rides. I put a lot of pictures on this time cause I wanted to see how many I could get on one post and I liked all of them. I have 3 goals this year. First is to run the Layton Half Marathon, second is to carry my big camera around, and third is to go on Wicked with Owen. I am a chicken when it comes to rides. He wanted to go so bad and Mat and I turned him down. I am going to try to do it before Mat so he can look like the chicken longer.

I thought that the train would be lame like the one at the Zoo. I liked it, wish I could have heard a lion roar but cool to see them up close .

We had a ward party last night. I thought I had a picture with Stacie's kids too but I can't find it. The kids and I tried to did a hole to stand in but other kids around us thought we were trying to fill the hole, so we didn't get vary far.

I love family bondage ( as my cousin calls it). I am starting to think that we are not feeding Parker enough. He found this pal of dirt and do what most kids do throw in the air. After a few minutes Parker dumped it all over him. See the dark line on his lips there were no oreos at the party. Most of you know that Parker's legs bow out and he walks on the outsides of his feet. We have an appointment set up for Parker on Wednesday to get his legs checked out. Hopefully his doctor just tells us the same thing that all of you have and just put his shoes on the wrong feet.
I was hoping that Connor would have wore off more of his energy outside but he just wanted to play inside. Thanks Krissy I hope he didn't make to big of a mess I should have check before I left.
