I was worried about how I was going to entertain the boys for a whole week of spring break. Erika solved my problem for Monday she invited us to Antelope Island. Connor and Parker would have stayed at the beach till the sun went down. After lunch we packed up and headed to the ranch house.

After dentist and doctor appointments we headed down south for the rest of spring break. Grandpa and Grandma Jeppson had planned a treasure hunt for the boys as well as an Easter egg hunt. As always Parker had a baseball bat in hand most of the time, while Connor flew his kit and picked up pecans.

We have wanted to take the boys to see the Monster truck show because Parker is obsessed with them, but he says he doesn't like loud noises. I received a  phone call for Uncle Wayne asking if he could take the boys to see the show. So we kept it a secret for 2 days but told them that they would be hanging out with Uncle Wayne on Saturday. When he came to pick them up I told Uncle Wayne that the boys didn't know where they were going and he would be the one that get to tell them. He kept it a secret as well. When they arrived at The Energy Solutions Arena the boys thought they were going to a basketball game, Uncle Wayne still kept it a secret. The boys finally figured it out when then went in and saw the Monster trucks. They had a great time and are so excited for the Monster truck show in the summer.

Happy 5th birthday Parker. He has been counting down the days till his birthday since Christmas. Parker is a vary active kid. He enjoys baseball, basketball, riding bikes, scooters. As well as playing monster trucks, motor cycles or watching them on the computer. He likes to coordinate his outfit with the activity he will be doing. So if we play basketball he will get on his "basketball shorts" or if its baseball  he needs his "baseball pants, gloves and hat". We love you Parker.

We as parents need to get out of the house just as much as the kids did. We went with the Classic fun center because Parker was upset that he didn't get to stay when Connor went there for a birthday party. They skated, climbed, bounce and even got in a game of lazer tag.

The boys were fighting all morning long so when Erika text us and asked if we wanted to join them at the Aquatic center I gladly accepted. I still don't like the side so Erika was kind enough to take Parker for me. Thank you again for saving our day.

We have been thinking of some traditions we would like to start with the boys. We came up with the Kaysville light parade, zoo lights, Layton lights ( walking and driving as well as a hay ride). This is my only picture of our outing because at the Zoo lights I forgot my battery so my camera wouldn't work and the hay ride I just forgot it.

I don't like to put the presents out early because that's how I grew up. But as we would be at other people houses they boys would notice that their presents were out and kept asking us if we could put ours out. We caved in and put them out maybe a day or two early. We won't be doing that again they boys wouldn't leave them alone. At one point they brought their blankets and pillows out just to look at them. One night while playing with blocks they made some guns and were protecting the presents. They had helmets and Parker put on his "motorcycle goggles" on and would have had his batting gloves too if his batting case was inside . After while of protecting they decided to make binoculars out to the block and spy on the presents.

On Christmas morning I heard them wake up and ask if they could get open their presents. We held them off till about 7:30. All Connor wanted for Christmas was Lego Star Wars. And for Parker he asked for monster trucks, motorcycle, dirt bikes, jeeps and a new baseball with his stocking filled with gum.

We have a family tradition of having breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma Jamieson. Grandma Jamieson is a fantastic sewer. This year she made all the grand kids blankets. Uncle Brian and Aunt kelly had  our family for Christmas. Connor was so excited to open another gift but when he saw what it was he jumped up and down screaming. Uncle Brian picked out a Lego Star Wars movie that had Darth Vader figurine in it. And Parker got two more monster trucks.

This year when Grandpa and Grandma Jeppson came up for a visit we gathered at the Church instead of someones house. It was nice to have the extra room for the kids to run around. Grandpa made some spinning tops toys for the kids to play with. They played basketball, threw the football around and used Ally's Chines jump rope to see who could jump the highest as well as how low can you go. We sure have enjoyed this holiday season.

We had great food and lots of laughter but that was going to do for Parker. He wanted to play baseball. We headed home for pie and he had a bite and wanted to go back to play. I convinced him to just play catch but he defiantly needs a baseball field thank goodness dad and uncle Brian have good reflexes that there were no broken windows or car windows. I think I look forward to Thanksgiving bingo more than the food sometimes. I know that you can't tell by the picture but I love it just as much as the kids.
