We had the opportunity to spend the weekend at Mike's parents cabin in Fairview.  There was lots of four wheeler rides, playing in the dirt, games and food.

The first night was not a good night. We went to be about 11 and around 12:30 Afton started to have a night terror. She didn't calm down until 2:30. She kept pointing towards the door. So went out and she tried on helmets and swept the floors. We took a selfie or two what else are you supposed to do at 3:30 in the morning. After I had enough of sweeping we went back in our room and turned the lights off playing a game on the phone and eventually dosed off.

We did a little service project for Tuttle's for letting us stay at the cabin. It took 3 trips to get enough bark to put under the ha-mack but the kids together to get the job done fast and back to riding.

The kids were getting restless so I told them we were going on a hike. It didn't last long but we had a little adventure before going home.

As we were cleaning up to go home Grandma brought out the rest of the ice cream to eat.

We had a family dinner the night before Blake's baptism. The boys threw the football and wrestled while the girls played the corner. Towards the end of the night we got the rocket launcher out and kept the kids busy for a few more minutes.

We go down to Toquerville twice a year and every year as we pass the sign that says Cove fort I ask James if he has been there. James took the kids to his Grandma's 90th birthday party. On the way home they decided to stop.

Another fun family dinner at Grandpa and Grandma Jamieson's.  You know if there is a bat and ball anywhere close to Parker he is going to want to play.

This year Carrie and I  had some company join us for our tradition of running the 5k, Connor, Parker, Eden and Dallin. After about 30 seconds of running  Parker started to walk the others kept going and with in a few minutes we were dead last. At mile maker 2 I had enough of being followed by the cop and I put Parker on my back and started to run. I would put him down for a minute and let him walk then it was back on and we would run.

We have a lot of time after the parade and we usually do nothing but this year we went swimming at the Rush.

We met back up at night to watch the fireworks. It seems like once the first firework is lite its a mad dash to light them all.
