We went for a little walk to the creek before the Easter egg hunt. It was dry enough the kids could climb down and do some exploring. They had a lot of fun running around and throwing rocks. When we got back the Easter eggs had been placed out and the kids were lining up to start the hunt.

Zoo
We were invited to spend the day at the zoo for Sierra's 10 birthday. We had a lot of fun spending time with family. The weather was great and the animals were out enjoying it to. I didn't get to see the lions but we hear the female roar.

Monster trucks
I'm not sure who was more excited to see the monster trucks me or the boys. It was fun to see them jumping and doing doughnuts but I was hoping for some back flips like you see on TV. It must have been some what entertaining because boys boys feel asleep on the way home.

It is national eat ice cream for breakfast day! Most of the time we don't need a national day to eat ice cream breakfast, if it's in the freezer Connor will usually ask for it. Afton and I celebrated twice this morning. She has a upper tooth coming in and she was cranky most of the night so I thought a little ice cream might calm her down.

After Breakfast we headed home to fix the rolls for Christmas dinner at Aunt Carrie's house. We always have delicious soup. This year Grandma and Grandpa Burton made home made ice cream. While finishing up dinner we heard lots of screams coming from downstairs. It was the younger kids and Uncle Wayne playing Foosball.
We met up at Grandma and Grandpa Jamieson's for our Christmas breakfast tradition. This year we had Great Grandparents up for breakfast.
The boys have been sleeping in the past few days but not today they were up at 7 am. I have been anticipating their scream of delight for a few weeks now. With in a few minutes all the presents were open and they wanted their toys put together.
