This morning the boys thought they should teach Afton how to say her first word.

We thought it might be fun to go and see the zoo lights tonight.  I was getting frustrated the more we walked around because most of the animals exhibits were  closed. Its the one time I didn't mind going in to the reptile house because there was stuff to look at and it didn't smell.

Tonight we had a family dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Jeppson. Erika had fun photo props and treats for the kids to make as well as a game. But most of the night the kids played football. Thank you everyone for the delicious food and family entertainment.

Parker enjoys racing his friends at school. One day on our way home from school he asked if he could run on the treadmill to get faster. When we picked up Connor from school he told him about how he got to run on the treadmill, so of course Connor wanted to try it. I got an email about the turkey trot last minute registration and and singed them up for the kids race. Each night they would practice their running by going a little further or faster. I was nervous because Parker would only run for 2 minutes then say he was done. Race time came and they were ready. They did great so proud of them. It was fun to see them work hard to accomplish their goal.

Happy Halloween! After a quick round at the trunk or treat with a friend we headed over to see Grandpa and Grandma Burton. Then over to Grandma and Grandpa Jamieson's. We dropped the boys off for more trick or treating with cousins while we went to watch Grace's volley ball game.

At Great Grandma Stahle's  house she has a big tree in the front yard. While I was down there the other day i noticed the majority of the leaves had fallen but there was some still on the roof.  So today we went down to clean out the rain gutters and blow the leaves down. Of course the boys didn't rake for vary long because there was football to play. Parker has been kicking anything he can get his hands on from dirt clogs to rolls of paper towels. He was kicking the football and got it stuck in one of the trees. He tried to climb but it was to high so out came the ladder. As I was helping clean up the leaves Grandma was holding Afton. I quickly grab James's phone and started taking pictures of the two of them. As I look at those pictures  I can't help but get teary eyed. I love my Grandmother she is a vary special woman in my life.
