We finally were able to carve pumpkins today. It was a surprise when the boys wouldn't reach in and grab the seeds out. They said they didn't want to get dirty. Huh! They drew what they wanted and James tried his best to crave it out.

We were able to make it to the carnival this year.  I look forward to the jeep rides. I found out that they are not much fun when you are in the back seat with no seat belt. Grandpa Jeppson took us out to see Indian drawings and dinosaurs tracks. When we got back it was time to get ready for the carnival. they boys have been so excited to put on their costumes but as soon as the carnival was over Parker was ready to change back into his normal clothes. We had a great dinner followed by a marshmallow roast. Connor had found a toy sword that he was playing with most of the day and started to attack the corn stock. Parker wanted to play some baseball till it got to dark then he started in on the corn stock as well. Our dvd players stop working on the way down, so on the way home the boys were so bored that they fell asleep an hour or so into the drive. The longer they way were in the car the louder they got.

Connor has started second grade. And you can see by his lunch box still obsessed with Darth Vader. After a few pictures Connor took off for the front door gave a  high five to the principle and went in.

Parker was outside playing then he came in screaming. He was stung in his eyebrow. His eye was swollen for about 5 days.
Just a random picture of Connor and his dog.

We had a family BBQ  on Sunday. Connor was so excited that there was a family party at our house this time. Its all the boys could talk about and even helped set up. It was a great night.

We had a family trip to Vernal.  One day James and I were discussing which route would be the fastest to take to Vernal, we said  it would be Park City and Parker's eyes got big and said "mine". We packed up the kids and hit the road at 6 am on Saturday. Connor has been watching me take pictures all his life and he as started to copy my love of self portraits. At the dinosaur museum Parker and Lucy would not move from this picture of the dinosaur with a baby in its mouth. It was a fun time being with family.

We were invited to Erika's for some fun in the water.  I wasn't sure if Connor was going to come out or stay in the house and play with the Storm trooper loges. It is always fun to be with family. Thanks for the fun day.

The boys have been complaining about slivers summer after summer. We were hoping to be able to resurface it but we decided it was time to tear it down. After tearing down the railing we were going to let the boys jump form the deck to the trampoline, but the frame work was rotten so I had the bright idea of letting the jump for the upper deck. When James saw the pictures he wasn't too happy( the railing was the best shape either), he took down part of it and the boys have been jumping off and on all day even convinced me a few times. I hope they will be helpful building the deck while i am off to girls camp.

This was Parker's last t ball game. He made sure that he had his "batting glove" ( a knit glove for winter) this time. He said that it helped him hit it further. In the beginning he struggled with the hitting the ball of the tea but he figured it out after a swing or two.

Connor last day of 1st grade. I am sad I will miss volunteering in his class. Miss Waters was wonderful and help Connor achieve his goals. He has grown so much this year I am so proud of him.
